Weaving verse written by Mercy Otis Warren through her modern dialogue play, Regina Robbins leaves us pondering the layers of revolution that have come before.

). Some are bad. Many are worthy but imperfect. Mercy Otis Warren's

The Ladies of Castile

is one of those play. 

Hedgepig pairs contemporary women playwrights with these plays, asking writers to loosely adapt the text. We're thrilled by what Regina Robbins has created and delighted to uplift Ms. Warren's largely forgotten work.
